The SénéMiel Mobile App is a companion application for beekeepers to monitor hives, track weather conditions, and manage orders on the go with offline capabilities designed for rural environments with limited connectivity.
The Challenge
Beekeepers in Senegal often work in remote areas with limited internet connectivity, making it difficult to access crucial information about their hives and environmental conditions. Additionally, they needed a simple, mobile-friendly way to receive order notifications and manage their marketplace activities without relying on constant internet access.
Our Solution
We developed the SénéMiel Mobile App as a companion to the web platform, optimized for low-bandwidth environments with robust offline functionality. The app integrates with IoT sensors to collect hive data, provides weather alerts tailored to beekeeping, and enables beekeepers to manage marketplace activities even when temporarily disconnected from the internet.
