GeoSenegal Explorer
Interactive Geographic Information System for Senegal
GeoSenegal Explorer is a comprehensive GIS platform that provides interactive visualization of administrative boundaries and socio-infrastructure data across Senegal, helping government agencies, NGOs, and businesses make data-driven decisions.
The Challenge
Government agencies, NGOs, and development partners in Senegal struggled with accessing comprehensive, up-to-date geographic data for planning and decision-making. Existing solutions were either too complex for non-technical users, lacked critical local data, or were prohibitively expensive. This created a significant barrier to informed policy-making and resource allocation.
Our Solution
We developed GeoSenegal Explorer as an accessible, user-friendly GIS platform specifically tailored to Senegal's context. The platform integrates various data sources to provide a single, authoritative repository of geographic information. We focused on creating an intuitive interface that allows users to explore, analyze, and export data without requiring specialized GIS expertise.
